1

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how MonkDevelopers ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of the AntivenomAI mobile application (Google Play package com.monkdevelopers.snake_identifier), collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy applies solely to the AntivenomAI app published by MonkDevelopers on Google Play.

2

Data Collection and Use

AntivenomAI allows you to take or upload photos of snakes for identification purposes.

Photos

When you use the identification feature, the photo you provide is sent to our servers for processing to identify the snake species.

Ephemeral photo processing

Your photos are processed ephemerally. This means they are only held in memory for the duration necessary to perform the identification and return the result to you. We do not permanently store, save, or share your photos with third parties for marketing or any other purposes.

Anonymous device identifier

The app generates a random identifier for your installation. It is not a hardware identifier, is not linked to your name, email, or any account, and is used only to group activity from the same installation (for example, your saved emergency contacts).

3

Usage Analytics (Optional)

To understand how the app is used and to improve it, we can collect anonymous usage analytics — for example, which screens are opened and whether an identification was submitted. This is tied only to the anonymous device identifier described above, never to your personal identity.

This is off by default. We only collect usage analytics if you explicitly opt in, and you can turn it off again at any time in the app's settings. When enabled, some events may include your approximate (coarse) location so we can understand where the app is used and map snakebite activity for public-health insight. We do not use analytics to track you across other apps or services.

4

Crash and Error Reporting

To keep the app reliable, we may collect diagnostic information when the app crashes or encounters an error, such as the error message, device model, and operating system version. This diagnostic data does not include your photos and is used solely to diagnose and fix problems.

5

Third-Party Services

We use artificial intelligence services to analyze the photos you submit. These service providers act on our behalf and are restricted from using your data for their own independent purposes. Crash and error reporting may be provided by a third-party diagnostics service that processes only the diagnostic data described above on our behalf.

6

Data Retention

Photos are processed ephemerally and are automatically deleted immediately after the identification request is completed. We do not retain user accounts or personal profiles. Anonymous usage-analytics and crash-diagnostic records may be retained in aggregated or anonymized form to help us understand trends and improve the app.

7

Your Choices

You can enable or disable usage analytics at any time from within the app. Disabling analytics stops the collection of new usage events from your device.

8

Children's Privacy

AntivenomAI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

9

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the effective date above.
